Rajaji National Park
Rajaji National Park was established in the year 1996 on the edge of the Dehradun valley This place is a perfect place for wildlife lovers because this park coves an area of approx 820sq.kms.with a variety of animal such as Tiger, Panther, Bear, Chital, Sambar,Elephant, Wild Boar, Kakar, Python, Snakes, Monitor lizard etc. alongwith a large variety of avian fauna.
It is situated at a distance fo 20 Kms from Dehradun city.
Situated on Dehradun-Paonta road at adistance of 40Kms.from Dehradun the Asan Reservoir is a small man-made wetland of 4 sq km area in the west of Dehradun valley.
Assan Barrage is a Winter passage halt for trans- Himalayan migratory birds and ideal place for Bird Lovers, Ornithologists and Naturalists. The lake attracts a large number of Waterfowl, Both Waders and Divers.
It is situated at a distance fo 40 Kms from Dehradun city.
Mussorie
The enchanting and fascinating Mussorie is situated at a distance of about 40 Kms. from the heart of city Dehradun.

This spritual towen is known as "Rishikesh" i.e. the place of sages
Rishikesh is situated at a distance fo about 24 Kms. from Haridwar. Mundali Skiing centre is situated at an altitude of 9000 feet above the sea level and it is a destination for skiing and adventrious sports.
The best season for skiing starts from the mid of Nov.and it lasts till April
The Forest Research Institute
The biggest forest based training institute in India is situated in Dehradun. Theworld renowned famous Forest Research Institute is situated at a distance of about 8 Kms. from the clock Tower on the way to Chakrate .The forest Reserch Institute institute also has a botanical musiem at it's campus.
The Indian Military Academy
The Indian Military Academy is situated at a distance of about 10 Kms. from Dehradun on the way to Chakrata .

Kempty Fall
The famous Kempty fall is situated at a distance of about 15 Kms. from the hill station Mussoorie on the way to Yamunotri
