Pindari Glacier:
The Pindari Glacier, in the Bageshwar district, falls in the Kumaon
Himalayas.This world famous glacier is a trekker's paradise, as it is
easier to visit than most other glaciers. This glacier is situated
between the snow capped Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot mountains. The glacier is at an altitute of
3353 mts.

It is situated at an altitude of 3853 mts. Many breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayan ranges are visible during the trek.Patal Bhubaneshwar : (110 Km) Is located at an elevation of 1350 mts. above sea level.The way to the temple is through a narrow tunnel shaped cave with more than 200 stairs downword .The narrow passage way opens into a large cave which have in them the stone carvings of many local Gods and Goddesses and can evoke weird romantic fancies and images in the religiously inclined person.The cave temple of Patal Bhubaneshwar is traditionally believed to be the abode of thirty three crore god and goddess.To and fro journey can be made on the same day from Kausani Baijnath (17 km):The famous temples of Baijnath.Built by Katyuri rulers.Here a cluster of temples hold in their fold beautiful idols of Goddess Parvasti chiseled in black stone.Innumerable tales of Lord Shiva and Parvati make these temples a fascinating experience.
Bageshwar (42 Km) : Bageshwar has its share of patriotic expressions and picturesque interludes. Situated on the confluence of Gomti and Surya rivers . The Temples of Bagnath situated here is venerated by one and all.During the reign of the Chands, the Shiva temple was constructed at Bageshwar.
